Prevent skin irritation

You may get a minor rash from wearing your bracelet, similar to fitness trackers and watches. While it will likely disappear in a matter of days, there are a few ways to prevent it from happening in the first place.

  • Strap tightness

You are most likely to experience irritation if you wear your strap really tight. Loosen strap with one hole.

  • Water resistance

While the bracelet is water resistant, it is recommended to keep it dry whenever possible. For example, always take it off when you take a shower.

  • Workout

It is also recommended to take off your CardioWatch after every workout. Wipe it with a clean towel, and let it dry while you shower.

  • Cleaning

Once a week, take the strap out of your CardioWatch and wash it. You can wash your strap with soap or gently rub its surfaces with an alcohol wipe.

  • Skin care

Before putting your CardioWatch back on, apply lotion to your wrist. This locks in hydration and forms a protective layer between your skin and the strap.

  • Skin rest

If you experience redness or skin irritation, feel free to wear your CardioWatch on the alternate wrist so as to not overexpose one skin area. This will not affect the heart rhythm measurement accuracy. Please don’t forget to change the settings in the Corsano app as illustrated below, depending on which side you are wearing the bracelet.
